So, I'm taking a break. Are you wondering about the title of this post? Thought I'd share something about me in a fun way. Why I love the name Jill:
- Jill is the name of my best friend in the whole world. And when I say best friend, I mean more like sisters. We've been friends since 5th grade and there's something special about a friend who has known you through every important stage in your life.
- Jill is the name of my very first editor (with The Wild Rose Press). She's no longer with the Crimson line, but I signed my first contract with her and working with her was a wonderful experience.
- Jill Sorenson is the name of a new (and now favorite) author I discovered this year.
- Jill (Marsal) is the name of the (awesome) agent I signed with this year. (I actually have a character named Jill in the manuscript I sent to her too.)

There must be something to that! Can't say there's a name that's been that important in my life, although I've encountered about 6 people with the same name and all are more than a little off balance. Sorry - I refuse to share what it is;-)
I've had a lot of encounters with the name Misty. My friend's name is Misty my oldest daughter's name is Misty. I've met quite a few people in my life with the name of Misty.
That's so awesome! I never thought about connecting names that were similar and impacted me. :)
Isn't that strange...I've never met one Jill in my whole life.
Hope your weekend is special :)
Hey, that is neat. And the name Jill's going to be even better once your agent finds you a hot book deal with a big NY publisher!
How funny - I like the name, too. I also like Jillian/Gillian, which is really pretty.
